There is nothing not to like about this wedding, especially Bo and Brittney themselves. Im going to make this short and let the pictures speak for themselves and just want to give credit where it is aptly due. The girls got ready in the luxurious Austrian Suite at the Madonna Inn with Reeda from The Queensbees on makeup. Then off to Santa Margarita Ranch which was over the top decked out with burlap and flower arrangements by Katie Noonan of Wine Country Designs (she also had a wildly creative and unique bouquet for each bridesmaid!) The night ended in a killer party with Kramer DJ’s and Entertainment and a fantastic lightening storm. phew… to the pictures!!

Clos LaChance, San Martin Wedding | { Dominic + Katie }
Tuesday, October 4, 2011
I was thrilled when I pulled up to Clos La Chance, this amazing Tuscan style winery in San Martin, CA. Dom and Katie’s wedding was beautiful and they both seemed to be having such a great time! Katie has so much style – did you see her shoes? – and was such gorgeous bride. Congrats both of you and I hope you love the images!
Special thanks to Tayler Enerle for driving up to assist me and contribute her fabulous images.
Santa Margarita Rnach Wedding | { Nate + Leah }
Friday, September 23, 2011
Chemistry is a funny thing; its undefinable, but also undeniable. Some couple’s just have it. Cue Nate and Leah. I wasn’t planning on taking anymore weddings this fall, but when Leah called and started expounding on the plan for their day in her smokey, genuine voice, I knew I had to take it on. Since then it has become one of my pet projects. They planned a dust-bowl themed celebration at Santa Margarita Ranch, decked out with turn of the century details, decor, and attire. Succulent themed floral designs by Robin at Social Construct Events, and day of coordination by Taffy at All Traditions. Hair and makeup by my favorites, The Queensbees. As amazing as everything was, it was all peripheral to the couple themselves. Their relationship is the stuff of legend. They both have magnetic personalities, and are so genuine, quirky, fun,and uninhibited (you should see Leah tear up the dance floor!). All my best and hope your lives continue to be as unconventional and exciting as your wedding was :)
Also a special thanks to my assistant extraordinaire Amanda Driver for her work, some of which is featured below.
Meridian Vineyards Wedding | { Steven + Courtney }
Wednesday, September 14, 2011
There are some couple’s about whom it feels outrageous to imagine a world in which they did not exist together. People who seem to fit together just right. Steven and Courtney definitely fall into that category. I absolutely loved watching them interact all day and getting to spend some behind the scenes time with them and their new little family. They had a classy celebration at Meridian Vineyards in Paso Robles. The whole day was seamlessly coordinated by Jenn and her Allure Events team who also created the luxurious floral arrangements. Hair and makeup by The Queensbees. The yummies provided by Two Cooks Catering. Reception lighting and jams pumped by Kramer DJ’s and Entertainment. Dangerously delicious cupcakes (im serious) by Double D Cupcakes. Overall, it was quite the party to celebrate quite the couple. And as usual I had a hard time narrowing down images for this post so enjoy!

Chamonix, France Wedding | {Andy + Mary}
Saturday, August 20, 2011
Mary is from California, and Andy is from Austrailia. Fate brought the two of them together in Geneva Switzerland. They both came from different sides of the globe, but its crazy to think that these two would not be together. Their relationship is so natural and there is so much chemistry and mutual admiration. Its obvious why Andy was attracted to Mary, she’s gorgeous! but she’s also smart, ambitious, adventurous, funny, and incredibly thoughtful. Andy was charming, witty, handsome, and so obviously in love.
In an additional twist of fate, Mary was the maid of honor at the same wedding that I met my Bobby at. So we traveled out there together and made a whole European tour out of it. Although both of us barely knew Mary and hadn’t yet met Andy, we instantly felt welcomed as old friends and by them and their families. Because it was a destination wedding, nestled in the french alps, it was a smaller group and a very intimate event. I was thrilled to be there and get to be a prat of their day and celebrate with them – they even got a tear or two out of me during their vows :) Thanks so much Mary and Andy for everything! I hope you love this little sneak peek- there are tons more to see soon!
Holland Ranch Wedding | { Chuck + Pam }
Saturday, August 6, 2011
Whenever I tell people I am a wedding photographer I always get asked to share bridezilla stories from the lexicon of them that most people assume I have stored up. Honestly though, most of my brides are calm, confident,unflustered, suprisingly thoughtful, and genuinely a joy to be around. Pam was definitely no exception. She was excited and quick to smile and enjoy the day. Chuck and his groomsmen were similarly all so polite and charming. Pam dreamed up an amazing event at the beautiful Holland Ranch. I have always wanted to shoot there, horses, boats, neon signs, so much to work with! So getting to shoot there with a gorgeous couple who were both willing to take some risks (including a sunset boat ride) was a blast! Congrats you two! and special thanks to my assistant/sidekick Kyle Wolllet (willing to go to all lengths to chase down uncooperative horses ) – couldn’t do it with out great help!
