well a big part of me can be explained by knowing that my mom is french. lucky as I could be, I got to spend many childhood summers in france learning the language and acquiring an early palatte for pate, cheese, art, jaques brel, les petits swiss, and francophone anything. (random tip- if you ever have just one day in paris, skip the louvre and take the metro straight to the musee d’orsay on le rive gauche. Impressionist heaven.) i love to travel but am just as excited about eventually settling down and staying in the same place for a while, having a big garden and watching the seasons change a la candide.
i come from a big family. six kids. which means i have 5 full time best friends. i wouldn’t trade our times together for anything. we are a rambunctious group of surfing, singing, dancing, cooking, eating, outdoors people.
the big news is (drumroll….) i just got engaged! it turns out weddings really are a great place to meet people. my mister, bobby, was a groomsman at a wedding i was shooting. its crazy to feel so fated to someone and reflect on just how much chance was involved in meeting each other. what if i had already been booked that day!?! phew… i feel like the luckiest girl alive and am so excited for adventures to come

Mary is from California, and Andy is from Austrailia. Fate brought the two of them together in Geneva Switzerland. They both came from different sides of the globe, but its crazy to think that these two would not be together. Their relationship is so natural and there is so much chemistry and mutual admiration. Its obvious why Andy was attracted to Mary, she’s gorgeous! but she’s also smart, ambitious, adventurous, funny, and incredibly thoughtful. Andy was charming, witty, handsome, and so obviously in love.
In an additional twist of fate, Mary was the maid of honor at the same wedding that I met my Bobby at. So we traveled out there together and made a whole European tour out of it. Although both of us barely knew Mary and hadn’t yet met Andy, we instantly felt welcomed as old friends and by them and their families. Because it was a destination wedding, nestled in the french alps, it was a smaller group and a very intimate event. I was thrilled to be there and get to be a prat of their day and celebrate with them – they even got a tear or two out of me during their vows :) Thanks so much Mary and Andy for everything! I hope you love this little sneak peek- there are tons more to see soon!
