Okay so I know I haven't posted in a very long time, and because of that I am going to make up for it by posting a bunch of pictures from this wedding I shot this Saturday. This weekend was an amazing wedding! Okay, well I guess I should start by saying I was half dead with the flu, literally, I spent the whole day before in bed with a 101 temperature. But from the beginning I have loved this couple and couldn't imagine not being there. Not to mention that you can't really "call in sick" as a wedding photographer. I am so glad that I pushed through because I was so blessed to shoot their wedding. They are from the valley like me, so how could I not love them! These two are meant for each other, a very special couple to say the least. And from the beginning they have been so stoked about the photography. As a photographer you kind of feed off that and it makes you shoot better. Since I am still kind of sick I can't write for long but I did want to post the images and apologize to everyone for my lack of posting! :) Ernie and Jess, I pray the Lord blesses your marriage!
Meagan, I am blown away by your skills! I've bookmarked this page and check back every month hoping that you'll return to the central coast area to shoot more gorgeous weddings!! I'm getting married July 31, 2010 at Sycamore Mineral Springs and would love it if you'd be able to take the photos for our most special day. My email is rodd23pnut@gmail.com

oh...and congratulations on starting the ministry--people like you are few and far between these days-
After graduating from Cal Poly grace allowed my to find my way into this amazing job. I get paid to do what I love! I love being able to capture the moments that can be easily missed but treasured when noted. The pictures I take tell a million different love stories, the story of a husband and wife, a father and daughter, two best friends- all imperfect and wonderful in their own unique ways. A few years later I still feel so blessed to do what I do!
Who am I in one sentence? A sinner saved by grace. It has been His grace alone that not only saved me, but gave me life abundant. God continues to blow me away with His unconditional love and patience towards me. Although thoroughly imperfect, I do truly desire to love Him more and more as He loves me.
In April of 2009 I will be embarking on a new journey. I will be moving to Mexico to work at a church in Tijuana- Calvary Chapel Pedegrales. I am confident that the Lord is going to do immeasurably beyond all that I can ask or imagine. His plans far out measure my own!
