Heather and Jim get married!

Heather and Jim got married at Robert Hall Winery, one of my favorite places to shoot! Jenn Hocker coordinated their wedding and did an incredible job, the entire day was beautiful. She also added her own creation to the day, a smores bar, which everyone loved! Her husband built it himself! Beau Kramer with Kramer Djs was there too, he does a great job keeping the event running smoothly and the dance floor full of people!
It has been so neat getting to know Jim and Heather. I think the number one reason why I love my job is because of the relationships that I get to build from it. I honestly felt like I was watching a friend get married. And the fun thing is, as the photographer I get to be there the whole day experiencing it with them.
Jim and Heather, I pray that the Lord blesses your marriage and I definitely hope to see you in Mexico!

Paden and a little Black Horse

Thanks Paden for modeling for me today! Paden is beautiful but more then anything I love her because she is fun and real. I value when people are genuine. Its easy today to pretend to be someone you are not. Even us Christians sometimes fall into the trap of feeling like we have to act like we've got it all together. The bible says that we have a high priest who can sympathize with our weaknesses. I'm not perfect, He knows that. But He is working on me. Our God is good!

We had a great time with the shoot. We started at Black Horse, the coffee shop where I spend all together too much money on caffeine! :) And then ended at the mission in San Miguel. We were racing the sun but we got some fun shots still!
