Matt and Jennies wedding on the 14th was such a beautiful day at the San Luis Obispo Country Club! The Dans and I had so much fun with everyone cruising around the golf course on golf carts and climbing beautiful oak trees to get the perfect angles. It was just a picture perfect August day as the sun was out and it was not 105% but a perfect day for sitting out on a porch with lemonade or in this case sitting on the golf clubs deck watching a beautiful marriage over looking a calming lake with flowing fountain. Jennie did such a wonderful job coordinating the wedding with the wonderful help of Bill from the club, Jenny from Jenny Mc Niece Flowers and Brian from DJcheetah. The entire day was such a blessing and we were all so thankful to be a part of it. Jennie as you can see below was such a stunning bride, she looked absolutely breathtaking! I just loved the look on Matts face when we did the pre-ceremony viewing as he was facing the other direction and when he turned around to see her his face totally lit up and he was speechless. Matt and Jennie, thanks so much for letting all of us be a part of you wedding as we had such a wonderful time getting to know you both! Blessings.

Pismo Beach ; Avila Beach Wedding | Collette & Jesse
Thursday, August 12, 2010
I just love photographing weddings for friends as it really makes the day for me feel so connected not only to the couple but also to the reality of the commitment the couple is making to each other! I met Collette a few years ago through my house-mate Danielle at the Esteem Surf Shop Bible study we are part of in Pismo Beach. She is such a beautiful and sweet person and I am so glad that I was able to be a part of her and Jesse’s beautiful and very fun wedding which was held jointly at the Sea Crest Resort and the always lovely Sea Canyon Fruit Ranch! It was just the perfect day here on the central coast and as you can see from the photos the water was the perfect back drop making shell beach look like a tropical get away. :) The colors she chose just went so perfectly with the summer day and the vibrant white and yellow bouquets from Shell Beach Floral Design balanced just perfectly with the green grass trees and the stunning blue skies! On top of it all Collette wins my award for being my most bold and courageous Bride of 2010 as when we went to do their sunset shot at the beach she decided that they would not only stand by the ocean but stand IN the ocean dress, suit, and all! Collette and Jesse I am so excited for you both and your new life together. I wish you the best years to come and I hope to see you soon for your image viewing party!
