Mike Larson Inc | Chloe http://www.mikelarson.com/chloe Just another WordPress weblog Tue, 20 Jul 2010 22:29:38 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.2 en hourly 1 Brandon & Brianne http://www.mikelarson.com/chloe/2010/07/brandon-brianne/ http://www.mikelarson.com/chloe/2010/07/brandon-brianne/#comments Tue, 20 Jul 2010 22:22:41 +0000 admin http://www.mikelarson.com/chloe/?p=1153 Last weekend I had such a great pleasure of photographing Bri and Brandons charming and chick garden party wedding which was held at their grandparents back yard in Arroyo Grande California.  It was so beautiful and all was planned to the “T” thanks to the wonderful ladies @ Danae Grace Events and Bri’s unparallelled attention to detail. :) Bri is so creative that she not only made all the labels etc. for the settings and candy bar but she even made her own macaroons for the candy table which I hear is like an 8+ hour task :)   The day had such an ideal weather and the blue skys were perfect contrast with the bright pink flowers provided  by Corinne from Panacea Event Floral Design.  Although the pink was vibrant, the families love for Brandon and Bri was even more so as they all physically poured their time and love in to this wedding.  The moms worked till the end making things and helping and the Grandparents and extended family spent many hours building the yard to match and frame this event an  ideal at home wedding.  The reception was so much fun as they had wonderful food provided by Epic Weddings @catering unlimited.com and then were entertained by the always fun photo booth by theboothexperience.com .  One of my most favorite parts of the day was the amazing musical ambiance durring the reception by the String quartet  candle light strings who pleasured us with a fabulous collection of Beatles music done classical style!  It was the most beautiful rendition of these songs I have heard and the music selection so wonderfully fit the blended vibe of the event merging of vintage and contemporary styles.  I have so enjoyed getting to know Brandon and Bri over the past months and I am so blessed to have been part of their wedding.  I wish we lived closer so we could all hangout!  Thanks you two and hope you are having fun in France and London!  Enjoy everyone!

]]> http://www.mikelarson.com/chloe/2010/07/brandon-brianne/feed/ 3 Allan & Susee http://www.mikelarson.com/chloe/2010/07/allan-susee/ http://www.mikelarson.com/chloe/2010/07/allan-susee/#comments Fri, 16 Jul 2010 20:04:09 +0000 admin http://www.mikelarson.com/chloe/?p=1241 On the June 26th I photographed the sweet and intimate wedding of Susee and Allen @ ABC Church in Atascadero CA followed by a reception at the Park Ball Room.  It was such a simple and beautiful wedding with such a wonderful focus I felt on the things that really matter most on a wedding day 1) God 2) the couple and 3) the families.   It was so fun as we got to shoot at many different locations that day all over town (6 different locations to be exact) that Jake and I scouted out before.  It was so much fun being spontaneous and shooting all around as I feel the images have a fun and eclectic vibe as they are  truly a sampling of north county.   We had such a nice time and then ended the evening with a fun little sun set session off the 41 overlooking Cambria.  It was such a beautiful day and thanks so much for letting Jake Dan and I be a part of it!  We wish you the best time together and I hope you had a blast on your honey moon.  Blessings!!
