Montana De Oro Engagement Shoot | Katie & Coby: Pretty in Purple

Wednesday, May 11, 2011

Last week I had the wonderful pleasure of photographing the beautiful Katie Noonan and Coby Parker-Garcia in Montana De Oro.   It was SO lovely out there with the glowing eucalyptus trees and soft evening light, truly a dream shoot!  Katie has become a good friend over the past 2 years as I have photographed several of her friends weddings and now I have the pleasure of photographing her and Coby this coming July in northern California.  I am so blessed to have gotten to know Katie as she is so fun and sweet but on top of that she is also famous here on the Central Coast for being an AMAZING florist and the owner of Noonan’s Wine Country Designs.  Check her out as she makes amazing and totally unique floral pieces that will perfectly accent your event.  For our shoot she made a beautiful sign with their initials out of orchid petals and a bark frame (see photos below).  She also went to the painstaking effort to make a custom petal sun umbrella that is just breathtaking (see below) which I hear is a real labor of love to make as each petal and flower has to be had attached individually in the pattern.  Katie now you know what it is like to make a Rose Parade float. :) Enjoy!

Katie and Coby: I hope that you love the photos and I am so excited for your wedding. :) Thanks for a wonderful dinner and I can’t wait to hang again soon. Blessings!

Santa Barbara Engagement Shoot | Jason and Rebecca

Saturday, March 26, 2011

Last Sunday I had the fun of photographing in my home town Santa Barbara!  It was so fun cruising around in my little bros classic Pontiac  Safari  as it was the perfect fit for the locations we chose and had more then enough room to fit everyone including their adorable beagle.  I had a blast shooting and even more fun then the shoot was getting to know Jason and Rebecca.  They are such a sweet and fun couple and I can’t wait till their wedding in September.  I hope you all enjoy the photos. :)
