Sara & the Frock

So I have had this dress that I purchased from a vintage store, since my junior year of college... Since then I have had a vision of what it could become. I loved it from the start it told a story of the person who made it and the care and beauty shown within the color of the fabric. This dress has moved with me from house to house just waiting for the ideal moment to be debued. Today was the day! I love so much to find clothing that really speaks to me, tells a story and makes me get lost in its stitches. To me this was more than just a "frock", this dress symbolised beauty, warm summer nights and happy times.
My dear friend Sara came to visit me and what a joy it was as I early on in he day remembered the Froc in the back of my closet. She faught against wearing the frock for a bit and even called the dress some mean names but finaly she gave in to its beauty! :)
Please enjoy my passion and vision of what someones giveaway bag item has now become!

Andrea & Paul

What a fun time we had last weekendshooting Andrea and Paul!
We went down town and all over shooting but with the Easter weekend budding its head the traffic and flux of people was fun to manuver arround! It is crazy as it is now lighter later and we didn't even start to shoot till like 5 which is so different than the winter but so fun as the light has a really beautiful lingering quality.
It was so cool because I actually know Paul from Cal Poly so when we first metup at the Mission Plaza, I was thrown back into memory lane and we had to spend like five minutes trying to palce eachother and where we met. :) It is so fun to work with old friends and to hear how thier lives have changed, molded and to hear about all the blessings that have occured. It was so wonderful to get to know Andrea and to hear about her life, back ground and amazing wedding plans! Andrea and I also had lots of connection as Mike and I have photographed many of her friends and family.
Additionally she was so fun to shoot as she is such a natural beauty that it made my job really easy! (Sorry not to embarass you Andrea but it is true) :) We topped off the fun and went to Thai Palace one of my favs in SLO which was so much fun and I can't wait to hang with them next time they are in town! :)
Anyway all that to say, I am so excited about this wedding and I can't wait to post more of them shortly look out for thier wedding on June 20th!

Courtney Adam & baby Fischer

What is more beautiful than a pregnant woman!!! Seriously I think that the miracle of new life is just the most beautiful sight! the glow on a pregnant mothers face is one that can not be duplicated! The only thing that potentially rivals this would be the classic look on the face of a first time father to be.
This past weekend I had the privilege to shoot photos for my new friends Adam and Courtney. We totally lucked out as the forecast was rain but as you can see from the photos that we were blessed not to hardly have a cloud in the sky!
We started the shoot by in the field behind my house and then switched it up and went for a more rustic look at my favorite barn spot in SLO. I hope you all enjoy these images as I really had such a wonderful time documenting this amazing couple together! Courtney and Adam, I am so exited for you both and I can't wait to capture your little upon arrival! :)
