Bali update!

Hi all! So I have a few minutes to post some of our journey! Let me just say we are having an unbelievable time here and God is using us in great ways to share his love for the people here in Bali!!! We have been surfing, snorkeling, studying, praying, playing, dancing, and teaching the kids at the orphanage.  It has daily been a reality check about what is most important in this life and has totally confirmed to me again and again why I am here on this earth and how I want to live my life.  I want to be a person who loves others, someone who puts others before themselves and dedicates their life to service of God and his creations!   I hope that I can always keep this mindset and at the end of my life look back and see that I was used by him in many ways!

Any way... a brief detail... here are some images to give you a bit of an idea of our trip!!! :)

Hi from Taipei!!!

Hi all! Simon and I made it to Taipei and have some time so I thought I would send you some shots of us in the airport here!  It was a long 14hr flight but thanks to emerald and her beautiful sleeping pills Simon and I feel great!!!! Only another 4 hrs till we get to Bali!  Please keep checking as I will post stuff as we are able! Love and miss you all!

So I love my job!!!
I get to attend parties, eat great food, meet/work with amazing people and capture peoples memories that they will cherish for a life time. My Friends Kayla and John got married this past weekend and boy what a sweet event and beautiful couple. I have had so much fun getting to know them over the past months! This event was so sweet from the intimate church wedding/ reception, to the hand-made flying origami cranes adorning the eves of the church (La Perla Del Mar). Kayla and John are so creative!!! They designed and created all the programs, invitations, peacock decorations and more... I could totally go on but just see the photos! :) Here is a sneak peak. Enjoy

Here are some shots of my new friends John and Kaylenes beautiful baby girl Taylor. She is such a doll! It is so fun doing maternity and new baby shoots. I have been learning a lot about patience while shooting as with new born you really can't predict how the shoot will go! :) Little Taylor was the most lively new born I have photographed! We had to have two shoots just to try to get some images with her eyes closed. I think we got some really beautiful images after 2 shoots, several feedings and a walk around the complex :).
