Several weeks ago I photographed Dustin and Micaelas wedding at the beautiful and elegant Vina Robles Winery in Paso Robles. The wedding was so beautiful and the day was so evidently filled with their genuine and simple love for each other. Micaela looked so stunning along with her bridal party and she was just a joy to photograph as she is a photography dream as she is like a china doll! :) Dustin looked really sharp in his suit with cream tie and perfect floral accent by Corinne from Panacea Event Floral Design. Corrine does amazing work and the flowers on the tables, at the alter and in the hand were so colorful and fresh. I especially loved Micaelas bouquet as Corinne attached a beautiful vintage cameo that was a family heirloom (see photo below). Another fun addition was that Dustin brought down his John Deere all the way from Lindsay CA which was no easy task but really was a fun prop! I just love small touches like these where the story of the bride and grooms life and family are incorportaed into the day as it just makes the wedding so much more personal. The ceremony was exciting as it was the first time Vina Robles had done a ceremony in their grand room. It was a big succes as it provided the unique intimacy of a modern church with the big glass windows and high ceilings that is really unattainable at most wineries. The reception that followed was outside in the courtyard and was so nice to photograph as the light was so ideal. The evening was also run so smooth as it was DJ’d by Chris Bailey and the food was amazing designed and served by Jennie from Trumpet Vine Catering. Dustin and Micaela, thanks so much for the amazing time and for allowing Dan and I to be a part of your beautiful wedding!

Santa Margarita Ranch Wedding | Tim & Erica
Saturday, October 23, 2010
Two weeks ago I had the fun of photographing my now good friends Erica and Tims stylized, unique, and very beautiful wedding at the San Luis Mission and the whimsical Santa Margarita Ranch! The wedding was so whimsical as the entire event was Alice and Wonderland theme from the hand made ring bearer pillow with keys on it to the grooms boutonniere made of a clock! This wedding was truly a labor of love as Erica, her friends, and family really put their everything into hand making all the details. I have never seen a more dedicated and detail oriented bride then Erica, which is part of what has made being a part of her special day so much fun and the days leading up to it so exciting! Erica spent so many hours making homemade jams, aprons, “eat me” bottles, signs and even necklaces along with the talented Terri of Terri’s Treasures. Erica and I even did a special themed e-shoot of them in full costume to have canvases prints as decor to hang at the reception (blog post still to come on that shoot). Everything was just so custom and fun right down to the photobooth guest sign in book and the amazing invites and hand sewn programs made by Necia of Umbrella Tree Designs! While Erica did coordinate everything thing, she did have an amazing team of vendors/friends working with them to make their dream become a reality. Erica and her girls were stylized by the amazing ladies of glamor the Queens Bees . Her reception in he barn was absolutely stunning and was just so perfect for the theme, the flowers and center pieces were designed and created by her fabulous brides maid and owner of Wine Country Designs Katie Noonan and the beautiful linnens and drapery details were stylized by Julie from Cover-ups. The reception was not only beautiful but was also a blast with food from the amazing Epic Weddings team @ CateringUnlimited.com, a dance party that rocked directed by Brian from Kramer DJS and to top the night off with the always fun photo booth by theboothexperience.com. This wedding was so wonderful and I am so so blessed that you chose me and the Dans to be a part of your wonderful wedding day. Tim and Erica, I am so glad that you live here in slo so that we can hangout! PS: I think we owe you a dinner! Blessings on the both of you and I hope you enjoy the photos.
