Two weeks ago I had the joy of photographing the wedding of my dear friends Ben and Erica at the always wonderful Sea Canyon Fruit Ranch and the Avila Beach Golf Resort! It was truly a blessed wedding to be a part of as I have know them for many years especially Ben as he was a groomsman in Dan and my wedding four year ago. Erica and I have recently become close over the past year and I have been so blessed to have spent time with her over many lunches and coffees when she was able to spend time in San Luis. It was also additionally fun as Dan and my friend from college the now famous Ben Potter from Cana VP, was not only there with his video camera but he also was the best man. The wedding really was perfect and from a photo stand point was so stunning as Panacea Event Floral Design worked with Erica and created an amazing floral accents for the entire day. My favorite part was the amazing strands of orchids and crystals that draped the altar. The wedding reception/ dance party was also a blast as Ericas friends band was featured and really keept the dance floor going along with the wonderful skills of Perry with Kramer Djs! It was truly a beautiful event and even more so due to the refreshing purity and love Ben and Erica share. Pastor Tim said it well as he began the ceremony mentioning how this wedding was different and it was as it was not just about the joining of two people who today feel love for one another but that it was about the truly lasting commitment that they were making before God. Erica was such a stunning bride as you can see below but she is also equally as wonderful to be around even the entire day as she so is just such a servent. She not only brought me a gift three days before her wedding but she also had lunches there for us and goodie bags for our team to snack on! Ben you are so blessed to have a women of character like Erica and I am so excited for the two of you and your wonderful future together.
