On September 4th I had the joy of photographing the gorgeous wedding of Steve and Sheila Ankenbrandt at the historic Mission San Miguel with reception to follow at one of Paso Robles premiere wineries Pear Valley.  It was truly a unique and beautiful event and was such a joy to photograph as the backgrounds they chose (the mission and the vineyards) were a pure set up for success despite the 110 degree heat!!  Sheila has such fun style and she was just put together so perfectly with her cute clutch, flower sash detail, chunky necklace, and fabulous makeup done by Reeda from the Queens Bees and Faces al la Mode.  I have so enjoyed meeting and spending time with Steve and Sheila as they just love life, each other, and their wonderful crazy-fun Filipino family so genuinely!! :)  From the minute the Dans and I arrived we were treated like family by everyone there and this just made the day flow so well for everyone along with the amazing DJ and time management skills of DJ Beau from Kramer Djs.  The wedding was such a fun time for everyone as both settings had so much character and beauty to be enjoyed and because the guests were so well taken care of by the staff at Pear Valley and by the always impressive cater Jennie from Trumpet Vine Catering!   The cake, also to be noted made by Lauren of the adorable Two little Birds Bakery in Paso was stunningly simple with floral accents and was very fresh and tasty which is tough to do with wedding cakes great work!!   Steve & Shiela, I hope you come back to visit your family here in California (I include Dan and my self in that now) very soon and enjoy the photos as you both look so beautiful!
